Braces on Crowns

While crowns protect decayed or fractured teeth, pairing them with braces allows your teeth to close up gaps that can cause tooth decay and gum disease. The brackets which hold the archwires of your braces, are attached to your crown through an adhesive instead of attaching them to your natural teeth. Normally if a crown is in good condition, then it is good to pair it with braces.

Braces on Veneers

It is advised that you wear braces first instead of veneers but thankfully, a removable dental brace called the Invisalign will protect your veneers from getting damaged by the brackets and still do the job of aligning your teeth although the process takes longer than having the regular immovable braces.

Braces on Fillings

Cavities need dental filling before attaching braces on your teeth. Bigger fillings require spacers on braces which are made of rubber and placed around your tooth to accommodate the brackets and bands.
