Senior Citizens and PWD Discounts for Dental Services

Senior Citizens and Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) compose a significant sector in the Philippines which should be given certain benefits to help maximize their contribution to nation-building.

These include medical and dental privileges, which may be availed to significantly reduce costs and provide affordable healthcare for all. Due to efforts by the Department of Health (DOH) and the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), a 20 percent discount and VAT exemption may be availed for certain procedures, services, and products for Senior Citizens and PWDs.

Drugs and medicine even essential medical supplies and accessories are subject to a 20 percent discount.
