1. Consultation
The first step to having Invisalign is consultation. During the consultation, our dentist will personally examine your teeth, evaluate your case, advise you of your options, and create a detailed treatment plan for you.

Photographs, x-rays, and a dental impression of your teeth will also be taken during your consult.

2. Invisalign Treatment Plan
Using your dental impression, Invisalign will create a three-dimensional model and a computerized treatment plan that will show you the movement required for your teeth to achieve the desired result.

3. Fabrication of the Clear Aligners
Once the proposed treatment plan is approved, Invisalign will proceed to fabricate your clear aligners in the United States. The number of aligners made will depend on the case of the patient.

4. Preparing your Teeth
On your next appointment, the dentist will install the “precision attachments” made of composite on your teeth. These attachments will help your teeth move more efficiently and effectively with clear aligners.

Your dentist may also perform “interproximal reductions” during the appointment. Interproximal reduction removes a fraction of a millimeter of enamel to create sufficient space between your teeth. 5. Treatment Period

Your dentist will recall you for appointments every 4 to 6 weeks to check the progress of your treatment. The entire treatment period may take 9 to 18 months to complete depending on your case.
