One of the few in the Philippines with an in-house digital laboratory. Our lab produces high-quality custom veneers, crowns, and bridges, with exact control over design and materials, and delivers remarkable results rapidly.
Located at our flagship clinic in Makati, our dental laboratory serves all the zirconia and porcelain requirements of all our clinics in the country.
Procedures
Computer-Aided-Design (CAD)
Our dental laboratory has the latest digital scanning machine that converts dental impressions into a three-dimensional model of your teeth and entire mouth. The scanned image is then uploaded into our software. The software allows us to digitally design and simulate, with the highest degree of precision, the shape, size, and fit of your Zirconia Veneers, Crowns, and Bridges.
Computer-Aided-Manufacturing (CAM)
The final digital design is then sent to another machine for milling. The milling process is similar to 3D printing. The machine uses the digital file to carve the veneers, crowns, or bridges on blank zirconia discs. The process only takes 17 minutes per tooth to finish.
Sintering Machines
The zirconia veneers, crowns, or bridges are then baked in a sintering machine for 4 to 9 hours. This process uses intense heat and pressure to compact and fuse the zirconia particles. This makes the zirconia very solid.
Porcelain Laboratory
The zirconia is then sent to the porcelain laboratory for final processing. Finishing the zirconia with porcelain will enhance the aesthetic quality of the veneers, crowns, and bridges.
The process is almost entirely made by hand and dependent on the creativity and artistry of our ceramists. Every tooth is individually stained, built-up, and glazed to achieve the color and look desired by the dentist for the patient.
After the porcelain work, the zirconia is then baked again for 4 hours in the sintering ovens.
